Leadership is not tangible, it can be hard to describe and usually hard to measure. Leadership can be an inherent trait and can be improved and learned through experience. Leaders must possess the ability to control and direct, have self-confidence, be knowledgable and willing to take the initiative. Most importantly a good leader is loyal, has a sense of responsibility to the people or organization under his or her charge. A good leader understands it is his or her responsibility to train, develop and instill leadership traits of others.
